Using the experience of the Czech Republic and other countries, the study updates the costs of the downstream section of the fuel cycle in Slovakia from the point of view of SE, a.s. as a key stakeholder organization. The outputs include the issues of completion of the operation of nuclear installations, their decommissioning and the storage of nuclear fuel and radioactive waste. The study also contains a benchmark of deep repository projects in selected European countries and Canada. The study was implemented in stages between 2013 and 2015.
