IAEA IGALL Working Group 1 Meeting at ÚJV Řež

We are proud to announce that ÚJV Řež is hosting the first meeting of the IAEA International Generic Ageing Lessons Learned (IGALL) Phase 8 Working Group on Mechanical Components (WG-1). The event takes place at the ÚJV Řež conference center from 21 to 24 April 2026.

About the IGALL Programme

The objective of the IGALL programme is to collect and discuss proven practices on managing the ageing of structures, systems and components of nuclear power plants. This includes:

  • Ageing management programmes
  • Time limited ageing analyses
  • Other ageing management activities

The result of these efforts shall be the publication of recommended practices for implementation in nuclear power plants worldwide.

 

Purpose of the Meeting

This specific event initiates the IGALL WG-1 activities for Phase 8 (2026-2027). The agenda focuses on:

  • Reviewing all action items and assigning responsible persons.
  • Reviewing previously completed work.

ÚJV Řež is proud to host more than 40 experts in person, with many others participating online from 28 countries.

We are honored that our colleague Mr. Robert Krivanek, WG-1 Chairperson, is leading this meeting together with the IAEA WG-1 Scientific Secretary, Mr. Martin Marchena.
