On Wednesday, 7 May, we were visited by His Excellency Matthew Robert Field, Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. He was accompanied to our site in Řež by representatives of the Embassy, as well as by Alan Woods, Director of Strategy and Business at Rolls-Royce SMR.
The programme of the visit focused on the presentation of our portfolio of services and projects, as well as a technical tour of selected technologies at the site. Members of the management of ÚJV Řež and Centrum výzkumu Řež, led by Chief Executive Officer Martin Ruščák, had the opportunity to discuss several projects in greater detail during the introductory meeting and throughout the tour. Due to the participation of Mr Woods, a significant part of the discussions was naturally devoted to our role in the development and construction of a small modular reactor at the Temelín site.
