The company of Nuclear Research Institute Řež a.s. boasts extensive experience in the research, development and manufacturing of radiopharmaceuticals. The preparations the Institute manufactures are supplied to a vast range of nuclear medicine facilities in the Czech Republic and abroad. Since 1974, when the first radiopharmaceutical agent was produced, the assortment has been gradually broadened to currently encompass as many as six preparations either ready-made for syringe application or delivered as six kits wherefrom injections containing 99mTc can be prepared for such application.
The Institute operates two remote facilities: (1) PET Centrum Praha at the Na Homolce Hospital, and (2) PET Centrum Brno at the Masaryk Institute of Oncology.
